Idle Earning Mechanics
Dockyard Idle Venture is an idle-management game, so production doesn't stop when you're offline. Open the game again to collect whatever's accumulated — progress isn't locked behind staying logged in.
Three clear upgrade paths, idle earnings, and port expansion — how Dockyard Idle Venture grows.
Each dock's output is driven by three upgradable stats:
| System | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Workers | Sets your dock's workforce — more workers means faster building |
| Speed | Controls how quickly ships get built and produced |
| Earning | Sets the cash return each finished ship brings in |
Each stat can be upgraded separately by spending cash, so you can prioritize based on where your funds are at any given moment.

The port has multiple undeveloped areas marked as under construction. Investing resources gradually unlocks them into new dock slots, expanding your total output.
Cash drives the entire loop — spent on upgrading existing docks and unlocking new ones, forming a cycle of invest → higher output → more to invest.
The shop lets players set their own tempo inside the same growth loop — optional, flexible, and built for idle progress.
